So let’s do some talking.

Tanuki Tail is a game I’m making for the Nintendo DS and currently my main project. It’s the actual topic of this blog and probably will until it’s done, and every other thing I blog about will be related (for example: tools I post will be tools I made to make TT).
You can read the story and gameplay here, and about the engine and project orientation in my first post.

I’ve released two demos in drunkencoders: demos 5 and 6. Don’t bother asking for previous ones because they aren’t interesting at all. However, although 6 has corrected things from 5, in 5 the map is different and you can take a look at the 2.5D map design better than in 6.
But, in 6, the GUI is more complete, you can see triggers, and some other things. Also some things were fixed from 5. Then again, if you want to know about the game, it would be a good idea to download both demos.

If there’s been a new release since, I was too lazy, or forgot (probably lazy) to update this page, which would make the page outdated.

There’s still a long way ahead on this project. I’ve been working on it for more than a year (lazily), but the more I learn the faster things go. I still have a lot to learn, not only about game development, but also general programming for the tools (for example: right now I can program quite well, but can’t do a window application of any kind… and animation editors, map editors… I’ll need to know how to do that for them.)
